In a limited collection of four coins, two gold and two silver, the coins feature a portrait of the founder of one of the fashion world’s biggest brands as well as a large 5 on the other side. The 5 references the coin’s monetary value of €5 EUR or $6.30 USD as well as a dual meaning referencing the famous Chanel No. 5 fragrance. Of the four coins, only 99 instances of the most valuable gold (5 ounces) coin will be produced with a price tag of €5,900 EUR (approximately $7,450 USD).
