Channel 4 in the UK has been garnering a strongly positive response from its Street Summer season of programming and events, the latest of which features a new iPhone app called Street Tag. Allowing downloaders to virtually paint any wall or surface they fancy using their iPhones, the application takes a photograph of the user’s choice and then offers a slew of options, from paint color to type of spray, in order to tag the surface. Not merely content with virtual vandalism, the app goes one step further with a social networking aspect, encouraging iTaggers to share their work with friends.
