VERSUS TOKYO 2011

Mercedes-Benz is currently sponsoring some of the best fashion weeks around the world, including New York and Berlin Fashion Week. From October 16 to October 22, the much-talked about Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Tokyo will be held for the 13th time. To close the climax of this highly-regarded event, the German carmaker asked Tokyo’s own acclaimed producer Yuichi Yoshii of “The Contemporary Fix” to produce a grand occasion on Sunday, October 22, 2011. Officially called VERSUS TOKYO, the event will include Spring/Summer 2012 collection shows, installations and sales of event-exclusive items, amongst other yet-to-be-announced surprise contents. Participating brands will include mastermind JAPAN, who will be coming back to this show for the first time in 6 years; PHENOMENON, which cemented its presence within the Tokyo fashion scene by participating every year; as well as other leading Tokyo fashion labels such as SASQUATCHfabrix, FACETASM, soe, DISCOVERED, WHIZ LIMITED and plumpynuts.
