Converse First String 2012 Spring/Summer Chuck Taylor All Star Collection

In time for the summer season, Converse First String introduces another Chuck Taylor All Star to its premium First String lineup. Taking inspiration from traditional sportswear and adding Converse’s very own contemporary subtleties, the iconic Chuck Taylor upper receives a makeover using a light mixture of jersey fabric and nylon. The jersey textile is purposely lined so that the inner nylon layer can gradually be exposed as the shoe is worn, altering the characteristics of the shoe as it ages. The natural hue of the shoe is further contrasted by a branding hit in black, a striped grosgrain heel loop, and a distinct tortoiseshell shoelace eyelet. Offered in a grey high-top version or a natural colored low-top, the shoe is available through Bows & Arrows retailing for approximately $70 USD.
