Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 999 "Steel Blue" Capsule Collection

After being privy to the sample process seen several days ago, New York designer Ronnie Fieg provides updated information and looks at his forthcoming “Steel Blue” collection. Details include a mixed premium nubuck, pigskin suede, and leather accented upper inspired by the popular New Balance 1300CL model as well as debossed heel and tongue New Balance branding, ABZORB cushioning, “Just Us” written on the eyelets, and the Kith logo imprinted on the insoles. The release will be available in limited quantities at Kith Manhattan, Kith Brooklyn and online for $130 USD on June 22 at 11 a.m. EST. In addition, Fieg and New Balance have partnered on several apparel offerings as well that include hoodies, crewnecks, sweat shorts and sweatpants – each expertly handmade in New York City using grey and blue french terry fabrics with Kith x New Balance branding. To mark the special release, 100 handmade wooden boxes containing the sneakers, hoodie and sweat shorts will be made available as well for $290 USD.
