The Sharp Neon Genesis Evangelion SH-06D Android Phone is a limited edition mobile phone reserved to the Japanese marketplace. Reserved to only 10,000 units, the highly-customized phone features distinct casing, hardware buttons and 3D Android 2.3 skin designed to reflect its heritage. Pre-orders for the latest from Android begins June 16 – with 3,000 sold via NTT DoCoMo’s online store starting June 29 over three days – with 1,000 of them going on sale each day at noon. While price points haven’t been specified, industry insiders expect the SH-O6D Android to retail for between ¥25,000-¥30,000 JPY (approximately $315-$377 USD).
