With the passion for storytelling, Shane Stirling‘s latest creative body of work titled “The Leadertape” explores the ethos and story behind the people, places and things that have, at one point in time, inspired him. In the form of a video documentary series, the first episode of The Leadertape captures Sean Brown of The Art of Reuse. What started off first as a realization of the hidden gems that could be uncovered while thrifting, the habit soon turned into an obsession that steadily fueled his passions. Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, The Art of Reuse is testament that big bucks do not necessarily need to be spent to achieve a desired look and that in an age of mass production, there are other options of retail available. One person’s junk is always going to be treasure to another, and thanks to Brown and Stirling, this notion is once again solidified.
