UBIQ x ASICS Gel Lyte V "Midnight Bloom"

After previewing the project just yesterday, here we take a closer look at the forthcoming collaboration between UBIQ and ASICS. Opting to celebrate the unexpected blossom of spring after a historically unforgiving winter, the Philadelphia-based retailer opted to execute the brand’s hallmark Gel Lyte V silhouette in a “Midnight Bloom” motif. The shoe attempts to balance light and dark hues by offsetting pink paneling at the rear and midsole with white at the forefoot and navy nubuck on the heel counter. Yellow accents around the sidestripe and 3M accents finish off this option, which will be available beginning May 17 online or from UBIQ’s Walnut location.
