J.W. Anderson Triumphs at the 2015 British Fashion Awards
Other winners this year include Jourdan Dunn, FKA Twigs, Karl Lagerfeld and Gwendoline Christie.
Fashion’s golden boy, Jonathan Anderson, took home the awards for both womenswear and menswear designer of the year for his quasi-eponymous line J.W. Anderson at yesterday’s 2015 British Fashion Awards ceremony. On top of this year’s double-win, Anderson also secured the menswear award last year and currently designs for LVMH-owned womenswear label Loewe as well. This year’s 17 winners were determined by a voting pool of 800 esteemed industry members and were presented with awards in front of a 2,130-person crowd. Other winners this year include fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld and model Jourdan Dunn, as well as a British Style Award that was split into two categories: fashion innovator, which went to musician FKA Twigs; and red carpet ambassador, awarded to Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie.
