adidas x HYPEBEAST 10th Anniversary UltraBOOST UNCAGED

After teasing the release not too long ago, we are now pleased to reveal the full look to our 10th anniversary collaboration with adidas. We chose the innovative UltraBOOST silhouette as our base model yet made subtle changes such as removing the cage, incorporating a Continental outsole and finally, adding a revolutionary NFC chip, which is the first in its kind for a footwear product. As HYPEBEAST is a platform for all people around the world to voice their opinions and share ideas with likeminded individuals, we wanted to represent what the community wanted — and what they were doing — by removing the cage from the silhouette. To help prevent the general wear and tear on the UltraBOOST tread, adidas implemented a long-lasting Continental outsole in a midsole-matching white color. Rounding things out and what sets this shoe apart is the NFC chip, which allows users to tap their phones and enter a specially created microsite. For those without an NFC scanning mobile device, the microsite can also be accessed by simply scanning the QR code on the hangtag. The site hosts a diverse range of exclusive content that users can enjoy each week when new installments are made available.

The first launch of the UltraBOOST UNCAGED will be released exclusively at HBX. Due to the limited quantities available, the adidas x HYPEBEAST 10th Anniversary UltraBOOST UNCAGED will be available to purchase via a raffle which opens on December 12 at 12AM EST. Entries for the raffle will close on December 14 at 12AM EST. Eligible buyers will be selected at random at the end of the registration period. Additional pairs will be released December 18 at select retailers in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia.
