adidas Originals launched four new Tubular styles during Paris men’s fashion week, all inspired by ’90s running technology. Donned by a group of local performers, the shoe’s lightweight design was showcased as each individual fluidly moved around architectural obstacles in the underground venue. The Nova, Doom, X and Defiant silhouettes focus heavily on intricate design language coupled with innovative technology as it is a modernization of the classic adidas Tubular 93 silhouette. Presented in a monochrome color palette juxtaposed against the EVA sole unit, the latest iterations of the Tubular concept work to maintain the energetic ethos created by the brand, pushing the boundaries of traditional footwear design.
