Even though he’s not from Chicago, Michael Jordan is one of the first names that comes to mind when one thinks about the Windy City. So having recently celebrated the iconic “Banned colorway of the Air Jordan, Jordan Brand will soon pay tribute to the bond between MJ and Chicago with a special release of the Air Jordan XXXI and the resurgence of the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe.”

Starting off with the Air Jordan XXXI “Chicago,” you’ll find a heel to toe color transition of red to white along the upper, which mixes synthetic leather with Flyweave materials. Sitting atop a translucent red outsole, you’ll find a special nod to Chi-town thanks to its visible skyline graphic.

A classic will also be making a return in the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe.” In remastered form, the upcoming retro will feature the same materials as previous Air Jordan 1 releases such as the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” and “Shattered Away” colorways.

Jordan heads can expect both the Air Jordan XXXI “Chicago” and Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” to release on November 5.
