New 'Hardcore Henry' Trailer Is Finally Set to Bring FPS Video Games to the Silver Screen
First-person shooter meets feature film.
If you’ve ever thought that your favorite first-person shooter would make a good flick, now you can get a look at how it would actually translate to the big screen thanks to the upcoming Hardcore Henry. Previously previewed with an early trailer, the newly titled Hardcore Henry is directed by Ilya Naishuller and set to be distributed by STX Entertainment. The film — which premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival last September — will allow audiences to see through the eyes of Henry as he’s resurrected from the brink of death before embarking on a bloody trek across Moscow to save his wife from Akan — a warlord hell-bent on bio-engineering soldiers.
Hardcore Henry hits theaters April 8.
