I always send in whatever pictures to walgreens. Last time I recreated a murder scene, I didn't want them to think i was some serial killer, so i just type a sign that said "THIS IS NOT REAL AND IS FOR MY PHOTO CLASS" and took a picture of that for the first frame. So yea, if you're really nervous just take a picture of a sign saying its an reenactment. I doubt they do anything though.

this thread smokeyface

so i have a somewhat weird question for you guys. so i'm gonna be shooting at a party this weekend and there's gonna be underaged drinking, smoking, and what not that will get captured on film. is it still okay to get those rolls developed at my local costco or drugstore? i'm wondering because i often see pictures like tree fiddy's above but i read somewhere that developers are required to view all the photos by law.

Honestly, I wouldn't be too worried about it. I think if harder drugs are obvious then that would be something to be concerned about but just drinking and smoking is something they probably see all the time. If you are more worried about it though, some places you can just ship out your film to develop it. If you went that route then you may not have to deal with the face to face contact and the developer will probably just pass it up because its not worth their hassle.

my yashica t4 frame counter was at 14 or 15 and now it's at 0

i take a picture and it winds the film(maybe less than 1 frame) and stays at 0

FIXED: i creased the leader a long time ago, caused some spooling problems

i wound it back into the roll and when i took the leader out, the film was a loop lol

What do you guys do with a finished roll that you won't be developing for some time? Do you guys throw it back in the fridge?

I throw all my rolls in the fridge when they are done but why won't you be developing it soon?

The only places that develop near me take some driving, and I won't have the time to do so for a week or two. But thanks for the tip!

I've considered it, but I've just started shooting film. I've only shot two rolls so far, so I want to see the results from that, but I'll definitely try self-developing C-41 down the road. Thanks for the links!
