size 25 in what cut?  That may be too small. Measure the waist band of a pair of good fitting jeans as the tag size is more than likely not the actual waist size.

Go to contextclothing.com and look at measurements. I'd say look at the New Standard cut. Also look around at online store's return policy so you can exchange them without a hassle.
yea i want new standards and my best pair of jeans is 28, so what do you say I should go with?

edit: measured it was 28

You should go for either a 26 or 27. If you want a slim appearance for for the 26 but if you just want a relaxed fit you could either go 27 or 28.

My Rescues. I feel they look too baggy... I sized down two to a 30.

Get 29 and you'll be happy..I made a mistake and bought my first APC PS in 29 (but I'm true size 32 tho), and now I regret it as it is still too tight in waist after 5 months. I can button up, but it is not as comfortable as I would want..
yea you should of copped a 31. or atleast tried it on before committing, rookie mistake.

In all honesty, I've had these for 5 years (I know, right and just started wearing them last week

CUT YOUR RESCUES INTO A DENIM JACKET CAUSE YOU GOT THE MATERIAL FOR IT BREH. in all seriousness it doesnt look good, especially the first pic, seems like your torso got cropped in the middle. IMHO. get some NEW STANDARDS. or petits if you're trying to get with it.

I think sz 30 would be great, because I had ordered 31 at first and had to exchange it for smaller as it was quite loose fit. I could button up very easily and I had overall feeling like this size is too big for dry denim which stretches a nice bit.

I know. I've just had them sitting for so long and I figured I'd try them out again. Anyone want to trade me some NS sz. 29-30 for my sz. 30 Rescue??? Surely someone needs some baggier jeans.

I don't really stress my PS alot, just casual wear, sitting in school and walking - crotch looks like it will rip in a month, so I think 6-7 months (the only real fade I have right now, and really noticable one)

Worth it to me, got them in and the fit is very nice, waist is a little wide/low so most people will need a belt. Stacks are

I'd say thin finn. But depends on how much you sized down on your apcs. Fit pics of your apcs can help too

does dry denim ever stop stretching? My PS are not as comfy as I would like on waist, even after 5 months and I was wondering what should I do..buy size up and start over, or try some tricks etc. Any help?

id say grimm timm would be tight on the ankles, thin finn is tight on the tighs,  i recommend slim jims.

I already asked this but I'm still unclear. In terms of waist size is there a difference between PS and NS. I got a pair of 31 NS and they were loose on my 32 waist, but when I had tried on a pair of 31 PS a couple of months earlier they were snug. I think I may have gotten slightly slimmer in those few months but I'm trying to figure out if I should get a pair of PS in 31 or 30.

Alright so here's the deal. I bought some size 32 unbranded skinny fits last summer and they are just too damn tight now. I've been lifting and finally putting on some weight so I'm looking for a less skin tight fit. Looking for better quality as well, which is why I've come here. Basically, I'm looking for a tapered fit where my thighs/nuts have room to breathe. Not super baggy but not skinny either. I'm 6 foot 2 and about 172 lbs if that helps.

IM kind of in the same position as you. Im 6'3" and 175 lbs, but my waist size is a 33.... Im trying to decide between new cures and petit standard but I'm leaning towards new cures just because it seems like petit standards are harder to size when ordering online.... I'm not exactly sure but im thinking of going 31 or 32 in NC... any suggestions?

WELL HERE THAT MOTHERFUCKER IS
