Reboot thing is ok but i am not impressed with the choice of Spider Man. He is too skinny to play a superhero.

I'm not too thrilled about this reboot. Not that I'm hating or anything, but I think the producers of this film should have waited a couple of more years in order to build up more anticipation..To me, the Spider Man series seem to be too recent..what was it? '07 since the last film was made..Anyway, I think it's gonna flop like the Superman Returns flick that had somewhat of a mediocre cast. Also, I think it's fair to assume that most people know how the Spider Man saga begins and the problem with that is if the writers of the film can effectively craft a credible, genuine story that distances it from its predecessor? I'm rather dubious of this..but ehh..they might just pull off something similar like Batman Begins, which was dope.smokeyface

I think they shoulda just made a Spider Man 4.. even though 3 didn't do too well, 1 and 2 were still pretty good... now they're just gunna redo the same storylines- green goblin, venom, etc.. i was looking forward to carnage or mysterio

^They couldn't, Tobey Maguire wanted to go to college and do other stuff i think. So they couldn't just continue with a different spiderman as if nothing was different.

Oh, I didn't mean the one in the clip. I meant the costume in the promotional image. I thought the costume in Spider man 2 was perfect. Classic but with some modern twists.

As the ReZ said, it's just the stuntman costume. The actual suit's not gonna look exactly like that, and yes I think they'll use some CGI for those stuntman scenes.

No, I meant the suit in the promotional image. They fucked with the standard design, and I honestly so no reason for it.

This was perfect.

they nailed the costume in the original movie series. but i see why they deviated from it though. it's just another way to differentiate this spider-man from the previous ones.

think about it 5 years from now when the new spider-man is on TNT or something. when you flip the through channel and just see a quick clip of spidey swinging in the streets, you'll be able to easily tell whether its the new one or the old one.

?

at least they didn't deviate too much from the original comic. this costume kind of looks like a hybrid between the classic spider-man costume and the ben reilly spider-man costume
