Alright, bitches. A lot of times, we think A-list actors only star in cheesy shit.

That's not true. I looked up a few IMDB pages, and low-key indie films that go under the radar.

Here are some (add some of your own favorites):

Fireflies in the Garden
Paper Man
Across the Hall
The Boat that Rocked
Entre Les Murs
2:37
Unmistaken Child
Grosse Point Blank

Lol The Boat That Rocked was distributed by universal, there's no way that can be classed as obscure, indie or even underrated.

i can't remember the title, but there's a film about time travel in an office space kinda environment. it's meant to be a mindfuck, and it definitely had very little funding/studio backing.

lmao I was wrong about the setting -- i'm still not sure what the setting is -- but the title is PRIMER. Came out in 06. Probably best not to look it up on wikipedia, lest you be spoiled. budget was $7000.

I just read an Inception review on AICN, and they compared it to Primer. Now I'm gonna see it, because I'm that shallow towards indie films.

ETA: icefilms might be even better than ninja. primer is on there.

definitely. Rockwell gives one of the finest performances i have seen and Kevin Spacey is just the icing. the plot is what really shines though.
