We shoulda won, we had like 16 starters or good depth players out and still came so close. Would have definitely won had our first-string defense been out there.

LSU is straight ass, they won't last in the SEC West if they play second halves like that

How could they not beat second and third stringers? They're gonna get thrown around in the SEC. Patrick Peterson is awesome though.

NCAA Football > NFL. (Even NCAA > Madden!)

I just wish there was, some sort of playoff system. The ranking is alright, until there's three undefeated teams after the bowl games.

Next week we got:

Florida State @ Oklahoma
Michigan @ Notre Dame
Miami @ Ohio State
Penn State @ Alabama (pulling one for Joe P!)

WTF Oregonm, 72-0! UNC almost had that game against LSU, AND they had a shit load of players suspended. Would've loved to see an upset.

Hoping the new qb for Texas does alright. As usual, he's got big shoes to fill. A few dropped passes/interceptions went down.

I skimmed what was said about NFL fans in England. From watching the EPL, I always see some sort of ad for placing bets, and betting on games in the NFL get crazy! I agree, I could see the NFL growing over there, but it's hard to picture people playing it. Of course, the EPL is growing here in the states.

Any predictions this year?

ps. sucks to be on USC.

I'm scared of what UNC can do with their starters, when we play them in 2 weeks.

On the defensive side of the ball we're gonna be dominating. Can't wait to see how Quinn lives up to his hype as a top 5 pick in the draft. Offensively we're gonna be good too, TJ is experienced as hell and when we get our first string receivers back we will be a lot better. A bright spot to come out of this I suppose is to know we have good depth.

That Boise/VT game was great, props to the winners for pulling that off, but cot damn did Boise win the lottery with their #3 preseason ranking. Let's be honest, no one is going to beat Boise (Oregon St. has a chance, but they're playing on Smurf Turf, huge advantage for the home team) for the rest of their schedule unless Toledo, San Jose St., or some other miserable, high school caliber team catches some serious good luck. For better or worse, they'll probably end up in the National Championship game.

You just mad because either, Pryor didnt come to OU like he flirted with, or because i predict Barkley to own your depleted secondary. Even if James has a monster season which he very well may hes not winning the trophy so hop off

Oregon to win Pac-10 and whatever bowl game we get sent to. DT is here college football world, everyone better watch the fuck out. Not to mention we have arguably the most exciting player in all of the land with LaMichael James. It's going to be a great football season in Eugene this season!

Did you go to the NM game? I'll be at the game on the 18th.

word. If they played in the Atlantic division the only blips on their radar would be Clemson and Florida State to an extent. Speaking of ACC, I'm expecting Jacory Harris to have a monster year.

I'm an Oregon fan/student, so I have pretty high expectations for this year too.

Fan/student too... 59 at half... Hmmmm...

just watched the West Virginia vs. Marshall game, wow, what a heartbreaker, Marshall blows a 21-6 lead, and the kicker just BARELY misses a field goal to keep the game tied in OT. Marshall fans must be sick tonight

Was that Lil Wayne scoring up the field today for Michigan?
Heads up for Denard Robinson.

It took a while, but Texas hooked Wyoming.

I'd be pissed as fuck the rest of the week if Iwere a Clemson fan.

Luckily, being a Duke fan, I knew we were going to get shit on by Alabama, simply scoring a TD on them is enough for me to celebrate.
