The colorful exploits of the annual/bi-annual mita sneakers, realmad HECTIC and New Balance MT580 collaboration have continued deep into their 12th release. With each release, a multi-color product is more then expected with this upcoming feature all but fulfilling the unofficial theme. Inspired by CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black), the Japanese favorite MT580 obviously features these 4 colors. Set to release July 5th at select retailers in Japan. Source: altsnk

DQM has just received new shipments of Japanese brand, Mad Hectic. The release includes two New Era caps, two tees, and two sleeveless shirts. All the shirts focus on horizontal multi-colored stripe patterns that will be brighten your summer days. The New Eras come in black and red, and are fairly simplistic in design just with their logo written across.

Mita Sneakers have been collaborating with realmadHECTIC since 1999 to bring us the classic 90's sneaker New Balance MT580; fast forward to 2008 and they are about to release their 11th series. In the spirit of this, the new additions to this series will be 2 new fusion colorways, fusing together past releases. The MTH comes in an earthy tone colorway, which a fusion of the 2nd Editions released in 2001. The GBH sports a pastel themed colorway, a fusion of the 3rd Editions which also released in 2001. These will definitely be popular amongst the fans of the collection. Be sure to check them out when they are available on May 3rd.

On the horizon is a new footwear release from Japanese brand Hectic. Some could say this falls well within the general scope of Hectic steez as they create a terry cloth court shoe in bold colorways. As part of UNDFTD's Japan Masters Series, UNDFTD has conducted interviews with defining members of Japan's street culture landscape. With the first interview including WTAPS and Philosophy Zine editor Tetsu Nishiyama, the latest installment includes former pro skater and Mad Hectic founder Yoppi contributing his thoughts and history. The topics range from Yoppi's involvement as a pro skater in Japan to his progression into fashion and the changing landscape towards fixed gear bikes in Japan. The New balance collaboration with UNDFTD, Stussy and Realmad Hectic have been talked about for quite but now, they will be finally launching in the States today. There will be three MT580 sneakers included in this launch each having the name Jimmy, Freddie or Kelley. There will also be an exclusive UNDFTD t-shirt for the launch of these sneakers. Both the tees and sneakers will be available today at Undefeated's e-shop. If you want to get it in stores, then you'll have a wait a bit longer.

In their annual collaboration, Stussy, UNDFTD and realmad HECTIC have teamed up on the heels of their three-pack of New Balance MT580s to create their 3 The Hard Way t-shirt. The shirt will be available this Saturday, December 15th at all UNDFTD JP stores in two different colors.

Throughout Asia, the hot sticky weather for the most part makes mesh caps a more popular alternative to the bread and butter fitted cap seen in other parts of the world. Having said that, the Japanese market has always been a bit of the exception in the fitted cap market (baseball anyone?) with realmad HECTIC releasing two new styles. This includes a patent style and a more conventional wool product with a logo design done by Goodenough UK. Available now at eproze.

With winter in full effect, most people are probably venturing outside in their full winter gear. realmad HECTIC has unveiled their latest collection of jackets which feature both a mix of classic and simple colorways alongside more liberal offerings. Some of the styles include stadium jackets, down bubble jackets and more technical and sports inspired cuts.
