Japanese photographer Yone is set to present his work to the American public this weekend. In some aspects, Yonehara Yasamasa embodies the same characteristics of another popular Western photographer, Terry Richardson with their liberal photographic style and subjects. One of his most recent projects included an extensive pictorial journey with Aki Hoshino on the book Sneaker Lover. With previous campaigns including Casio G-Shock, Staple Design and American Apparel, LA Confidential will add to a growing list of accomplishments. The event thrown by House of Cassette and Mighty Printing will take place Saturday, May 17th. After the "Sneaker Lover" Photo tees, the "Sneaker Lover" book and the DVD, Kiks TYO is releasing Tees once again with Aki Hoshino lying semi-naked with your favorite sneakers. The merging of sneakers and girls in bikinis are always popular amongst sneakerheads. The shirts are available on pre-order at the Kiks TYO store.

Following up on their pictorial endeavor, Sneaker Lover, the trio have released a DVD to accompany the project. Featuring almost 60 minutes of video, the DVD follows the crew around as they create content for the book. The DVD is set as region-free allowing worldwide play. Available now at KIKS TYO.

To celebrate the Casio G-Shock 25th Anniversary, the Japanese electronics company will drop a big event in New York City. Tokyo-based photographer Yasumasa Yonehara aka Yone will be there to present his campaign for the new G-Shock line with his trademark sultry photography. Japanese photographer Yone and model Aki Hoshino have followed up on their photographic print endeavor Sneaker Lover with a gallery showing at Taiwan's SOL. The exhibit includes large blow ups of pictures seen in the Sneaker Lover book as well as candid Polaroid shots. Other items not pertaining to the Sneaker Lover book include miscellaneous items such as Yone's previous works, Nike Michael Lau Dunk SBs and Aki Hoshino Kubricks. The show will run until April 13th. Japanese semi-erotic photographer Yasumasa Yonehara is at it again with his trademark photography style with clothing label Applebum in a special collaborative t-shirt. The t-shirt features a model scratching herself in a disjointed photograph. Photographer Yasumasa Yonehara is widely known for his photographs of girls in seductive poses. Recently, Yone has collaborated with Japanese model Aki Hoshino on the "Sneaker Lover" book where Aki poses with some of the most sought after sneakers. Now together with KIKS TYO, they have created a series of six limited edition t-shirts based on photographs from the book.
