The Rock's Under Armour Sneakers Are One of the Fastest-Selling Shoes of the Year
Project Rock Delta sells out within 24 hours.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson appears to have the Midas touch, as evidenced by his success with films including The Fate of the Furious, and now with sneakers — which might just be what Under Armour needs to stay afloat within the competitive sportswear industry. Upon releasing his first shoe dubbed “The Project Rock Delta” earlier this month, the co-branded trainers sold out within 24 hours. The company issued a restock, but the sneakers were completely gone within hours once again. UA has now halted production of the footwear, making it an official collector’s item for those who were fortunate enough to snag a pair. Claiming to be the fastest-selling pair of sneakers for 2017, The Rock shared on Instagram that a new colorway for the Rock Delta would be releasing in Q3 of this year.
