Take a Closer Look at the Slam Jam x United Arrows Sneaker Exchange

After images of a collaborative adidas Gazelle emerged last week, official confirmation of United Arrows & Sons and Slam Jam‘s adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange pack has now been released. As well as giving a look at the rumored second sneaker in the pack, there are also more details about the Gazelle. Coming in off-white Alcantara — a high quality and innovative material produced in a joint Italian-Japanese venture — the sneaker also features a ribbed tongue taken from the Samba silhouette.
For the collaboration’s second release, a take on the Campus silhouette, the two stores have given the sneaker an all-white upper made from 100% organic cotton — a reference to Japanese Ikeuchi Organic towelling. Other additional touches include terry cloth used on the area around the ankle and its interior, and the two retailer’s names on the shoe’s outsole and laces. Both the Campus and the Gazelle will be available for pre-sale from the United Arrows and Slam Jam web stores on September 22, before dropping at adidas Consortium stockists on October 7.
Check out another upcoming collaboration from adidas Consortium, with the brand recruiting German retailer The Good Will Out for a ninja-inspired blacked-out NMD CS1.
