Wave Runner 700 lookalike?
Last December, Yeezy Mafia claimed adidas was working on its own rendition of Kanye West’s Desert Rat 500 and Wave Runner 700 silhouettes. The label’s answer? Ostensibly, the Three Stripes’ new Yung 1 model that was a part of its Dragon Ball Z collaboration. The low-top shoe’s Frieza-inspired colorway doesn’t necessarily imbue any ‘Ye vibes, but a cream motif may just do the trick.
The fledgling Yung 1 sneaker, in its pared-back beige and grey hues, has surfaced online with multiple folks flaunting the pair on their social media accounts. The shoe boasts adidas’s Falcon Dorf upper from the late ’90s, with a newly revamped sole. Official details regarding the iteration are still pending, but take a look at the photos above and below, then let us know if it’s worth the cop.
For those of you that would rather have the Wave Runners, it appears that the YEEZY BOOST 700 will re-release, globally, very soon.
