A Closer Look at Prada's Chunky, Industrial Mechano Sneaker

A seamless extension of its, “utilitarian, rational and industrial soul” offering for fall, Prada continues to highlight its newest footwear silhouette: Mechano. The Mechano draws inspiration from functional industrial footwear and is available in orange, green and blue colorways. The silhouette is a chunky body constructed with an upper that features a mix of suede and technical materials. Rubber details are found throughout the strap of the shoe, circular eyelets and a majority of the outsole. The Prada logo is subtly placed on the heel’s back tab to maintain its minimalistic aesthetic.
