An On-Foot Look at the Pharrell x adidas POD System Hu
Building on the collaborative relationship.
Continuing their collaborative relationship, Pharrell Williams and adidas Originals recently linked up to create the POD System Hu.
Unveiled via an exclusive release, the shoes build on the look of the Hu NMD with a black knitted upper defined by a thick sock-like ankle collar, large heel and tongue, and a unique lacing system. The lacing system wraps around the midfoot region right above the bold “Hu” embroidered branding and connects to the TPU heel counters. Elevating the shoe is adidas’s emerging hybrid POD sole comprised of an EVA foam forefoot, BOOST cushioning heel, rubber outsole and rigid torsion bridge.
No official drop notes just yet, but stay tuned for more information regarding a wider official release.
