PUMA Looks to Classic Arcade Games for Latest RS-X Colorway
For the old school gamers.
Following the reveal of its Hot Wheels x PUMA collection, the sportswear brand looks to ’80s and ’90s arcade games to accentuate the busy design and bulky outsole of the RS-X silhouette. Its bold color palette uses greens prominently through, partly inspired by darkened arcade rooms dimly lit by cabinets of classic titles like Pacman or Space Invaders.
A rich teal soundwave-inspired Formstrip emphasizes the colorway, alongside with neon pinks covering the heel. The midsole features PUMA’s updated Running System technology, reinventing the heritage model while still honoring the past.
You can grab this PUMA RS-X Toys on December 2 via select retailers, including atmos, for ¥ 13,000 JPY (approximately $115 USD.) In other footwear news, The Weeknd’s XO x PUMA FW18 Collection is set to drop next month.
