The Nike Air Tailwind '79 OG "Royal Blue" Is Set to Re-Release
The return of the retro.
Continuing its revival of the Air Tailwind ‘79, Nike is set to re-release an OG “Royal Blue” colorway for the retro runner.
Accompanying the “Vast Grey” release, the reissue of the classic look features a bold blue mesh-and-suede upper accented by hits of white on the Swoosh branding and tongue. Additional branding is found on the heel pull tab and on the exposed foam tongue tab. Finishing up the design of the shoe is a retro Air-assisted midsole and a contrasting black rubber outsole.
Priced at $100 USD, the Air Tailwind 79 OG “Royal Blue” is set to release at select retailers and nike.com on December 20.
