Jun Takahashi and UNDERCOVER took to the runway in Paris yesterday as models like Stranger Things‘ actress Sadie Sink showed off the brand’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2018 women’s offerings. And one of the unexpected highlights? None other than a first look at the latest UNDERCOVER x Nike collaboration.

Dubbed the UNDERCOVER x Nike React Element 87, the new design not only injects its own point of view on the clunky sneaker trend, but comes in a trio of colorful looks echoing the aesthetic of the line’s seasonal apparel. The shoes, as their name suggests, also employ the Swoosh’s latest and greatest cushioning technology, React. The bold color-blocking and retro, trail running-like colorways even recall some of Takahashi and Nike’s GYAKUSOU collaborations from years past. It remains unclear, however, if these will fall under the aforementioned GYAKUSOU banner.

Check out the trio of collaborative Nikes above and stay tuned for more info on the shoes.

In the meantime, take a closer look at UNDERCOVER’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2018 menswear and that of its youthful sub label, JohnUNDERCOVER.
