During a post-Coachella performance interview with Everyday Struggle‘s Nadeska Alexis, Compton rapper Vince Staples didn’t hold back when it came to his opinion on accused child molester R. Kelly.

Staples started out the interview by mocking the live-streamed segment and reading from Alexis’s teleprompter revealing he wouldn’t be sticking to typical PR points. Then moving onto the topic of Teslas, things quickly took a weird turn to focus on Kelly with Staples slamming the singer by calling him a “child molester” and a “piece of f*cking sh*t.” Regarding Teslas, Staple stated, “I’ve got one more year on probation. When my last year of probation is over, I’m breaking speed limits — I’m doing wild sh*t.” Despite a noticeably uncomfortable Alexis, Staples continued, “You don’t go to prison if you’re a black entertainer. Only if you’re a black gangster rapper. I’m changing my whole path.”

Staples went on to elaborate:

“Think about it: R. Kelly never went to jail, and he’s a f*cking child molester. He’s a child molester and he pees on people and he can’t read and write, and he didn’t go to jail. I’m a good person — R. Kelly’s a piece of f*cking sh*t. So, if piece of f*cking shit R. Kelly didn’t go to jail for being a child molester and peeing on people and having a human trafficking ring in Atlanta, then I’ll be alright.”

During the interview, Alexis pushed back on Staples’ responses and said that their talk would “get her fired.” But Staples continued, “Because R. Kelly a piece of sh*t? He don’t work here. They should have booked R. Kelly if they like R. Kelly so much. He would have pissed on somebody in the crowd. Because he pees on people.”
