adidas Will Soon Unleash the NMD R1 “Gum Sole” Pack
Tonal uppers and gum soles.
adidas revisits its NMD R1 silhouette, this time revealing the “Gum Sole” pack. Comprised of three simplistic tonal schemes, including white, black and grey, each shoe, as the name so cleverly suggests, features a gum outsole to go along with the sneaker’s signature full-length BOOST midsole.
Each of the uppers takes on one of the aforementioned colors, which combines mesh elements along with a durable textile resting at the rear. The matching-hued heel counter, side area Three Stripes branding and EVA plugs help tie the overall look together. Priced at $130 USD each, the adidas NMD R1 “Gum Sole” pack will make its way online by June 1.
