Jorja Smith Shares 'Lost & Found' Single, "February 3rd"
Her album is dropping June 8th.
Jorja Smith is finally prepping for her debut album. The British crooner recently announced that the project, titled Lost & Found, will be arriving on June 8. Today, “Blue Lights” artist dropped the first single to her forthcoming release, titled February 3rd.
In an interview with Exclaim, Smith said that Lost & Found has been three years in the making. “It was never like, ‘Okay, I’m going to take three years to create an album,’” she said. “I just write songs. As much as I love plans and stuff, when it comes to music — same as how I do my EP — they just happened. I made them, and then I was like, ‘I want to put out an EP,’ ‘Oh, these songs will go well together, so I’m going to put them together.’ That’s what happened with the album, it just came to a point where I thought, ‘I think this year is a good year to put out an album, because people are watching me.’”
“February 3rd” appears on the album alongside previously released singles “Teenage Fantasy” and “Where Did I Go?” Stream “February 3rd” above and stay posted for the latest updates from the artist.
