ERDL Camo Receives an Array of Colors in This Air Max 95 Pack
Coming next weekend.
Nike takes the rather ubiquitous ERDL camouflage pattern and gives it an array of colorful makeovers in this Air Max 95 pack.
Developed in the 1940’s by the U.S. Army’s Engineer Research and Development Laboratory (ERDL), hence the nickname, the ERDL camouflage design has been one of the more recognizable patterns since its heavy use during the Vietnam War. Nowadays, it’s seen much more in the world of fashion than it is in combat zones. Here, the Air Max 95’s paneled-construction receives five different colorways, while the tongues and heel tabs also get a different hue. Fans will have their choice of a white or black based pair, both constructed with leather and mesh materials.
The Nike Air Max 95 “ERDL Party” Pack will release August 4 at select Nike Sportswear retailers and nike.com, with a price tag of $190 USD each.
