Wiz Khalifa Says Curren$y Turned Him Into a Sneakerhead in New 'Sneaker Shopping'

For the latest edition of Complex‘s Sneaker Shopping series, Joe La Puma links up with Wiz Khalifa at Stadium Goods in New York City to talk fashion, fitness and more.
To start, Wiz Khalifa opens up about skating in Air Jordan 1s. “I was skating in them in high school — towards the end of high school really, because I didn’t have a lot of nice shoes during high school,” Wiz explains. Later, he talks about how Curren$y got him into sneakers beyond the level of the average consumer. “I seen his closet when I went down there, and it was sick — just shoes everywhere,” the “Gin & Drugs” rapper says. “He put me up on game and how to rock everything.”
