Your First Look at Nike's React Element 55 Model
The follow-up to the React Element 87.
Following up on June’s leaked imagery, we now have a first proper look at two of Nike‘s upcoming React Element 55 silhouettes. Initially teased in a variety of hues, the first two shoes offer a pair of distinct colorways. Surfacing in “Black/Cool Grey/Dark Grey/Solar Red” and “Black/Cool Grey/White/Volt,” the shoes replace the 87’s translucent upper with a more conventional mesh and suede makeup. An opaque black upper also makes for a much more subdued look compared to the 87. “Solar Red” and “Volt” accents on the outsole are then complemented by matching accents on the upper, while the shape of the 87 appears to be retained.
No word from Nike on a release date or if the React Element 55 will be a women’s only shoe, but stay tuned with us as more info is unveiled.
