After being pushed back and subsequently releasing trailers in the interim, Rockstar’s open-world Western Red Dead Redemption 2 is releasing in a couple months, and this gameplay trailer highlights mechanics and activities that it will feature. The game will be massive and contain multiple terrains from cities, deserts, to snowy mountains that’ll be filled with dangerous animals preying on you and others.

The story will follow Arthur Morgan before the events of the original game as he leads a bunch of outlaws that includes the first game’s protagonist, John Marston. You will run and socialize with your crew, developing bonds, supplying your camp (the game’s hub), and taking part in missions. You’ll even fish and play games together. The immersive world will allow Morgan to interact with all NPCs, and depending on the context and your choices, you’ll be granted “honor” that will affect your standings with people. Certain NPCs won’t forget if you kill a character they care about.

Horses will have to be broken in and depending on how well you feed and groom it, the more your handlings with it will improve. They also have varying likes and dislikes to ensure not one horse is the same as the other. Combat mechanics, including the “bullet time-esque” Dead Eye feature from the first game has been revamped to be more realistic.

Check out the trailer above and grab Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26.

In other entertainment, Power Rangers sequel is in the works.
