adidas Originals Welcomes Newest Brand Ambassador, Childish Gambino
The soulful artist makes it official with the Three Stripes.
Shortly after Childish Gambino – known by many as Donald Glover - dropped the animated video for “Feels Like Summer,” adidas Originals has made a pivotal announcement. The Three Stripes’ heritage division has officially welcomed the soulful artist to its team as a brand co-creator which will include creative projects, apparel and footwear. The news follows Kylie Jenner announcing her partnership ahead of its Falcon campaign. adidas Originals shared the news with an animated short similar to his aforementioned cameo-filled music video. This time around the short picks up where the original video left off as Gambino returns home to take off his beaters and lace up a pair of adidas sneakers. When discussing the creative partnership, Gambino expressed “I believe it’s important not to feel like ideas are bound by specific guidelines and adidas Originals has given me the opportunity to create on my own terms. I’m looking forward to seeing what that leads to.”
