A$AP Rocky has had a rather busy 2018. From finally releasing his TESTING album back in May to working toward the release of AWGE’s anticipated collaboration alongside Under Armour, the New York native recently sat down with the Gentleman’s Journal for its September/October cover. During the discussion Rocky reflects on turning thirty next month and whether or not he should act slightly different once he reaches that age.

When asked about the AWGE collective he expresses: “What I love about AWGE is that there are different genres of talent within it. I mean, sometimes I sit back, and maybe you can blame it on the weed and shit, but I think this generation will be the one that could discover extraterrestrial life.” When juggling sleep and his success the sleep-deprived artist says toward the end of the shoot, “It’s been a long night, long day, long few years, man. But that’s the way I like it.”

You can read the conversation in its entirety via the Gentleman’s Journal. You can also watch the and cover video above. In related A$AP Rocky news, you can watch the rapper reveal when his collaborative sneaker will release on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
