Commonwealth Unveils Purple-Hued adidas ZX 500 RM "Friends and Family" Edition
The exclusive colorway launches this week.
Commonwealth first introduced its collaboration with adidas last month, revealing the duo’s coastal-inspired ZX 500 RM as the premiere style in the line-up. Hot on the heels of that release comes the exclusive new “Friends and Family” version in a bold new hue.
The latest edition of the ZX 500 RM features a purple and blue colorway with a crisp white midsole for contrast. Purple laces create a tone-on-tone aesthetic on the upper, while a stitched-on adidas trefoil logo adds texture to the heel. Branding from both labels are located on the insole to round out the key details.
Starting February 1, the FNF will be available exclusively at Commonwealth stores and commonwealth-ftgg.com. No wider global release is planned.
Commonwealth teased a peek of the shoe in its Spring/Summer 2019 lookbook last week, which also included various apparel pieces that incorporated the same shade of purple throughout. The range also carries a number of graphic T-shirts, inspired by the likes of Malcolm X, Sade and Bruce Lee.
