Converse's Louie Lopez Pro Rebuilds a Tennis Shoe for Skating
A signature skate shoe, inspired by the archives.
Upon debuting his own Converse Chuck Taylor All Star in 2017, skater Louie Lopez joins forces with the iconic sportswear brand to reveal the Louie Lopez Pro. Serving as Converse‘s newest signature skate silhouette in nearly six years, Lopez referenced historic designs from the archives to bring his shoe to life. Combining the Chuck Taylor All-Star outsole, a slim retro tennis silhouette and elements of the One Star CC Pro and Breakpoint Pro Lopez, the result is a minimal construction that combines both form and function to fit Lopez’s lifestyle. Featuring monochromatic hues and premium suede throughout the upper, details include “L. Lopez” stamped in gold, embroidered star chevron logo and butted seams to reduce friction. Coupled with Nike‘s Zoom technology for additional support, the Louis Lopez Pro is available now in black and white at Converse online for $70 USD.
Converse Japan also revisited classic designs by unveiling its upcoming “Big C” pack.
