The Air Jordan 1‘s mid-cut option is set to incorporate one of MJ’s many notable quotes. Though the model may not be a first choice in the eyes of OG Jordan enthusiasts, this pair, however, has a timeless black and white makeup alongside a subtle upgrade on its tongue tab. The Air Jordan 1 Mid is covered in black leather with white accents on its laces, tongue, outsole and Swoosh outline. Final touches include the tongue tab which reads “Maybe I Destroyed The Game” – closing words in one of the Air Jordan XX3 ads. The expression is also joined by the year 1985 and Jumpman branding as additional nods to MJ’s legacy.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Maybe I Destroyed The Game” is expected to launch in the coming weeks for $110 USD at select Jordan Brand stockists and Nike.com.
